Free Movie Rentals!!!

Okay, I may regret sharing this deal, but I think we are all taxpayers and you deserve to know about it and reap the benefits!!!

The public library system is the best place to rent movies for free. Yes, I mean the new releases you can go in to rent for $5 at the local movie rental store. You will need a little patience since you are not going to walk in and walk out with it, but once you get going, you'll have plenty of movies!!!

The deal is you need a library card which is free!!! When you get your library card or if you already have one, ask for the pin number for it. You can go online to http://hip.pclc.lib.fl.us/#focus using your library card number and pin to search for movies and save them to your "List" or "Request to Hold." You may put unlimitted on your "List" and 10 items on your "Request to Hold" list.

Items that arrive to the library on your "Request to Hold" will be held there just for you for one week! You will see what number you are in the order when you make your request and your request will be saved for up to a year. You may choose which library you pick your items up at and you may return them to any library you choose! There is even a Book-By-Mail option!

Once you get your movie, you have two weeks to watch it! Be careful though, there is a limit to two movies per library. That means if you have two movies that are housed at the E-library you may not take out any more that are housed there. However, if the next movie comes from Dundee Public Library, you are fine :)

Once an item is into the library, you may transfer items froms the list to the hold list!

Enter your e-mail address or else you will be getting daily calls to come pick up your items!!!

Another benefit, if your due date is approaching, you may renew your items online! Warning, if you are past your due date then you'll have to call to renew.

(We personally love the e-library in Lake Miraim Plaza. They have a request shelf that you can retrieve your own items, plus we like to look around and pick up other items! Plus, they are really nice!)

Welcome!!!
